We’ve all seen them. Those corrugated plastic signs up against fences, attached to posts, sitting on benchtops – the applications are endless.
But where can we get them? Well, that’s what we do every day here at Perth Graphics Centre. Printing corrugated plastic signs is a specialty of ours.
Why choose Perth Graphics Centre?
We’ve been printing corrugated signs for close to 30 years, and in that time the same principles have always applied – use the best quality ink, use state-of-the-art machines and look after our customers with fast turnaround and a premium product.
How long do corrugated plastic signs last?
It all depends on your application. Let’s use a couple of examples.
If your plastic sign is used indoors, then the lifespan is decades. Because there’s so little UV light indoors (and UV is the enemy of longevity) you’ll find your signs looking great for years to come.
However, if you use corrugated signs outside, then in Perth conditions we’d say between one and two years. As you’re well aware, our UV exposure is very high in Perth. Therefore, if you want your plastic signs to last as long as possible, you can bring them in each night and put them out each morning.
That way, you minimise exposure to the sun in the early morning and late evening.
What is a corrugated plastic sign made from?
Polypropelene, also known as PP. There are many names for the product including Corex, corflute, fluted plastic and corrugated plastic. We’ve also written a good article on what these signs are – you can find that here.
How long do these signs take to make?
At normal times it’s between one and two weeks, but we do get busier periods throughout the year, so the best thing to do is contact us and we can advise you on our current turnaround.
Rest assured, we don’t outsource any of our sign printing – everything is done in-house and is meticulously quality controlled, so you know you’re buying from a locally owned and operated business.
